Preserving historic character while improving the home for sale.

This house is more than 125 years old, and the hardwood showed decades of wear. We explained that a complete sanding would provide the deepest restoration, but the client chose our Screen & Recoat approach because it better matched the available budget and timeline.

We aggressively screened the existing surface, added a rich stain to improve the color, and protected the floors with two coats of premium polyurethane.

The entire refinishing process was completed in one day. The owner was pleased enough with the first apartment to hire us for the remaining apartments and later left a 5-star Google review.

I had Robert refinish the 125 yr old floors in my apartment that had been covered up in laminate. The floors were quite badly marked with lots of paint splatters with old varnish, and had probably never had any work over the years to preserve them. They came up so well they looked like new! I was so pleased with them I had Robert do the other two apartments as well. Now they are good for many years to come. They look awesome. Robert was super friendly to work with and good with communication of my appointment dates and time. He was very reasonably priced and I am extremely happy with the work. A faster way to revive heavily scratched hardwood before listing a home.

This homeowner was preparing to sell their home but had significant scratches throughout the hardwood floors. A full sanding was not an ideal option due to the higher cost and the extended downtime of up to two weeks, especially since they wanted to get the property on the market as quickly as possible.

They chose our Screen & Recoat system with color correction instead. This one-day process allowed us to aggressively prepare the surface, blend worn areas, and restore a more uniform appearance to the floors.

Robert and his sister did a fabulous job on our floor!!! We are in the process of selling our home and wanted refinishing the front door entrance, hallway, and dining room to be one less thing for new owners to have to worry about. I wish I would have taken "before" pictures but it slipped my mind. However, I do have "after" photos which is all that really matters.
